MIRAVIS PRIME Adepidyn Technology Fungicide is a broad-spectrum, suspension concentrate (SC) co-formulated fungicide containing 250 g/L fludioxonil and 150 g/L pydiflumetofen. Designed for key horticultural cropping systems, it delivers preventative and curative protection against targeted fungal pathogens such as Botrytis (grey mould).

In commercial production—such as grape blocks in Sunraysia, the Yarra Valley, or the Hunter Valley, and cherry orchards in Tasmania or the Adelaide Hills—this combination provides dual-site activity to protect developing fruit clusters and plant tissues during critical windows of disease pressure.

The registered withholding periods require specific harvest delay intervals: 1 day for berries (including blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries); 3 days for cherries, lettuce, and leafy vegetables; and 14 days for grapes (including wine, table, and dried fruit) and potatoes.

For livestock safety, do not graze or cut treated crops, stubble, or orchard/vineyard floors of berries, cherries, grapes, or potatoes for stock food. Do not feed leafy vegetable forage or fodder to lactating dairy animals producing milk for human consumption.

Mode of action

MIRAVIS PRIME combines two distinct biochemical modes of action. Pydiflumetofen is a Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor (SDHI, FRAC Group 7) that disrupts fungal respiration by blocking Complex II in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. Fludioxonil is a phenylpyrrole (FRAC Group 12) that interferes with osmotic signal transduction (MAP kinase). Together, these actives target spore germination, germ tube elongation, and mycelial growth within host tissues.

Resistance management

To prevent or delay the development of resistance in target fungal populations, rotate or alternate MIRAVIS PRIME with fungicides from different FRAC resistance groups (such as Group 3, Group 9, Group 11, or multisite Group M fungicides). Avoid consecutive applications of Group 7 or Group 12 co-formulations within the same spray season, and strictly observe season maximum application limits detailed on the approved APVMA label.

Tank-mix compatibility

Suspension concentrate formulations generally display good physical compatibility with standard crop protection products. However, exercise caution when tank-mixing with emulsifiable concentrates (EC), foliar nutrients, or crop oils, particularly during period of high temperatures or slow drying conditions.
